I’m an integrative counsellor working in Aberystwyth.
If you’re struggling to deal with your current situation then counselling really can help. I can offer you support as an experienced listener and give you an opportunity to talk about your difficulties in a warm, confidential and secure environment.
I initially trained as a person-centred counsellor in 1994, then several years later as a CBT trauma counsellor. This training coincided with my development as a mindfulness practitioner. All of which I have integrated into my counselling practice.
I understand that choosing a counsellor is a personal choice and suggest using the initial session as an opportunity meet each other and establish whether you’d be comfortable to commit to a series of sessions.
Clients typically present a diverse and varied range of difficulties. Some clients self-refer whereas others are referred to me by medical professionals or other counselling services. I am employed for part of the week as a college counsellor for Coleg Ceredigion, where I offer counselling to adolescents and young adults.
